Our Testimonies

Stan’s Testimony
I was raised in a Christian home. One night our pastor preached on “Hell and How to Get There.” As a four-year-old, I realized that I was fully qualified. That night as I was helping my dad fold diapers (I had two younger brothers at the time), I told him I was a sinner. I knew that “All sinners have their part in the lake of fire” and I didn’t want to go there. My dad said, “Stanley, you don’t have to go to Hell if you trust in Jesus.” He opened his Bible to John 3:16 and led me to the Lord that night.

The Lord led me to go to Prairie Bible Institute to study the Bible for four years. There I met my wife of 37 years. From the beginning of our marriage, we were involved in ministry in the local church and Sunday school, VBS, backyard Bible clubs, and visitation.
We thank the Lord for our three children. We always took them with us in outreaches as well as church. Each of them came to know the Lord at a very early age and gave their lives to Him. As soon as they could sing, they would sing with us. They learned to teach the Bible verses, the songs, object lessons, and then Bible lessons.

Following the Lord’s leading, I was a missionary pastor with my family to northern Minnesota for two and a half years. For four more years we worked in a 100-mile area with visitation, Bible studies and outreaches in churches, homes, nursing homes, senior centers, fairs, and parks.
After teaching high school Bible and science classes for a year in Arkansas, we moved to Florida where our family was privileged to become involved with a creation ministry in Pensacola until 2009 when we launched our own full-time traveling creation ministry. God has been faithful to lead us and empower us to help old and young to Remember Now Thy Creator!

Susan's Testimony
I was reared in a Christian home. I had wonderful parents who were faithful in church and evangelism including youth work and child evangelism. They held teaching seminars and workshops and were instrumental in planting two churches. My dad preached and led singing in numerous small churches in the four-state area of Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.

When I was six years old, I had been a bad little girl. I don’t remember what I had done, but I had to be talked to by my mom and probably spanked. She pointed out to me the fact that not only had I done something against her in disobeying but I had sinned against God. She clearly reminded me of the punishment that I deserved from God because of my sin and the price Jesus paid so that I could be forgiven. I asked the Lord Jesus to be my Saviour that day. When my dad got home that day, I ran out and told him what had happened and he picked me up, put me on his shoulder and carried me into the house where we celebrated my new birth.

I was saved on the weekend. The next day that I was in school, I gathered all my friends in first grade at recess and set them down on the playground. My first “sermon” was on creation. I told them that God had made the world. He made the trees, the clouds, the grass…I didn’t know everything about it, but I realized that they needed to understand that God is the Creator. This is even more true today.

I am thankful that my parents allowed me to be a part of their ministry. They gave me the opportunity to teach children and later teens and adults as a part of the teacher training and to sing for the Lord. I had the opportunity to lead children and teenagers to the Lord.

I remember the first person I led to the Lord. I was burdened for a younger child that I saw playing outside every time I walked to school. So one day, I stopped and talked with her and led her to the Lord. Anybody can do this. We don’t have to save anyone. We just have to tell them. God does the work in the hearts, the saving.

Jessica’s Testimony
From a very early age—even while I was still in the womb—my dad and mom told me about the Lord. My mom had taught me to sing "Jesus Loves Me" by the time I was a year old and before I was three I realized that I was a sinner and needed to be saved. I talked with my mother about it. My mother gave me the Gospel again and led me to the Lord. As a little child, I was a real worrier. I thought every time I sinned, I needed to ask Jesus to be my Saviour again. My parents helped me realize that Jesus would never forsake me and that was wonderful to know! I knew I was saved and I wanted my friends and cousins to be saved as well.

As I got older, I heard others giving their salvation testimonies in such detail. It seemed everyone could tell exactly where they kneeled to pray or even the date they became a Christian, while the actual time I trusted in Christ had become a distant haze in my early childhood memory. Satan would use this and my worrying tendancy to send doubts my way. One day when I was about seven, I was listening to a sermon on the radio that played through our home. I remember telling Christ as I stood by the sink in our half-bath that I wanted to once and for all be sure in my heart that I had trusted in Him as my Savior so that Satan could no longer use my poor memory to frustrate me.

A couple of years later, I was baptized and it wasn't long before I dedicated my life to serve the Lord at a missions conference. What a joy to share my Jesus with others and know that He can save and keep them for all eternity.

I praise God for His salvation power, and the early and patient working of the Holy Spirit in my heart.

Bryan's Testimony

As was true with my sister and older brother, I heard the gospel in my mother's womb from the time that they knew I was there. At the age of four I realized that I was a sinner, and my parents led me to the Lord while sitting on my bed. After praying to the Lord asking Him to save me from my sins, I was filled with such joy that I wanted to tell everyone the good news. Later, for Awana, I memorized Acts 16:31 and based my salvation on that verse. I then dedicated my life to be a missionary at the age of 5 with my brother and sister, knowing full well what I was doing. I was baptized at the age of 9.

My whole life I've been physically weaker than those around me, though it took awhile to figure that out. But after giving my life completely into God's hands I know that His power is made perfect in my weakness and that when I am weak, then He is my strength. My life verse is Psa 118:17  "I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD."
